Terms of Use

Last updated: April 2025

1. Introduction

These Terms of Use apply to Sleepless Club, a UK-based company offering parent meetup events. By using our website or purchasing a ticket or subscription, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Description of Services

Sleepless Club offers weekly meetup events designed to help parents of young children connect in real life, typically at local cafes, parks, or other informal public spaces. Events are arranged based on user preferences such as location and the age of their child.

While we aim to create positive and enjoyable experiences, we cannot guarantee:

Participants may bring their child or baby to the meetup, but may not bring additional guests (e.g. partners, friends, or relatives) unless explicitly agreed in advance.

Meetup details, including the confirmed date, time, and location, will typically be communicated by email the day before the event. We reserve the right to change the meetup location or format at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, venue availability).

We aim to select venues that are budget-friendly and aligned with the preferences of our community. In most cases, meetups will take place in local cafes with typical local café prices. However, we cannot guarantee that all venues will meet individual budget expectations.

The ticket fee (or subscription) covers only the cost of organising, curating, and communicating the meetup. Any food, drink, or other personal expenses incurred during the event are the responsibility of the participant and are not included in the ticket or subscription fee.

3. Booking and Payment

You can attend Sleepless Club meetups by purchasing either a one-time ticket or a monthly subscription.

One-time tickets are valid for a single meetup on the selected date. Payment is required in full at the time of booking. You will receive confirmation by email once your booking is complete. Each ticket is valid for one adult and their child. Additional guests are not permitted unless agreed in advance.

Monthly subscriptions allow you to attend an unlimited number of meetups while your subscription remains active. Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance via your chosen payment method. Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless cancelled.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by contacting us. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again after cancellation. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you purchase a subscription online, you have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of your initial subscription and receive a full refund, provided you have not used the service (i.e. attended a meetup). If you attend a meetup during this period, your right to a refund is waived.

We reserve the right to amend our pricing, ticket options, or subscription terms. Any changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect active subscriptions during their current billing period.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us at least 12 hours before the event start time to be eligible for a refund. Refunds are not guaranteed for late cancellations or no-shows.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule meetups. If we cancel, you will be offered a full refund or the option to attend another session.

5. Behaviour and Safety

We want all Sleepless Club meetups to be safe, respectful, and enjoyable. By attending an event or using our services, you agree to behave appropriately and to treat others with respect.

Parents are responsible for supervising their children during meetups. We reserve the right to remove anyone whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.

You must not:

You must also not use any tools, apps, or software to interact with our platform unless we’ve given you written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

Sleepless Club is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during our events. By attending, you agree that participation is at your own risk.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and communications, including branding, text, and media, is the property of Sleepless Club. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our permission.

8. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you agree to our data practices as described therein.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through our website.

10. Termination of Services

Subscription Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by contacting us directly. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and no further payments will be taken. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within an active billing cycle.

Sleepless Club reserves the right to terminate your subscription at any time by providing notice via email. In the event of termination by us, your access to future meetups will end at the conclusion of your current billing period, unless we specify otherwise.

Ticket Termination

You may cancel a one-time ticket up to 12 hours before the scheduled meetup to receive a refund. After that point, tickets are non-refundable. Sleepless Club also reserves the right to cancel individual bookings at its discretion, in which case a full refund or transfer will be offered.

Modifications to Terms

By continuing to use Sleepless Club after changes take effect, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.
